Grenada
Vertebrates unique to Grenada include the national bird, the Grenada Dove (SCSCB) and the Grenada Frog Eleutherodactylus (or Pristimantis) euphronides (Caribherp).
Invertebrates found solely in Grenada include a damselfly Argia telesfordi (SHNLH), a caddisfly Farrodes grenadae (p. 12 of Smithsonian pdf file), a ground beetle Pseudaptinus thaxteri (Caribbean Insects), an ox beetle Strategus tarquinius (Univ.
Nebraska-Lincoln), a tumblebug Canthon perseverans (Catalogue of Life), a sweat bee Habralictus insularis (Wikispecies), a chalcidoid wasp Miotropis histrionica (NHM-London), a centipede Gonethina grenadensis (CHILOBASE), the land snails Bulimulus wiebesi (Bram's Snail Site) and Aperostoma grenadense (p. 13 of SHNLH pdf file), and a marine bonnet snail Sconsia nephele (Eddie Hardy).
Vascular plants found nowhere else include Maytenus grenadensis (Virtual Field Herbarium), Charianthus grenadensis (Melastomataceae of the World), Rhytidophyllum caribaeum (Virtual Field Herbarium), Lonchocarpus broadwayi (NYBG), and a tree fern Cyathea (formerly Hemitelia) elliottii (Google Books). A new species of red algae Halymenia mirabilis (Algaebase) was described in 2004.
