Hong Kong
Reptiles unique to Hong Kong include Bogadek’s Burrowing Lizard Dibamus bogadeki (Reptiles of Hong Kong), the Hong Kong Blind Snake Typhlops lazelli (Harvard pdf file), Hollinrake's Bronzeback Dendrelaphis hollinrakei (Reptile Database), and an undescribed colubrid snake apparently of a new genus collected in 1999 (p. 9 of HKU pdf file).
Endemic amphibians include Romer’s Tree Frog, which has recently been classified as the sole member of the genus Liuixalus (ARKive) and perhaps the Short-legged Toad Megophrys (or Xenophrys) brachykolos (flickr).
Also
found nowhere else are the Hong Kong Paradise Fish Macropodus hongkongensis
(AFCD
HK) and a freshwater sleeper Sineleotris saccharae
(flickr).
Dragonflies known solely from Hong Kong include the Spangled
Shadow-emerald Macromidia
ellenae and the Hong Kong Tusktail Fukienogomphus choifongae
(both at AFCD
HK) and the Hong Kong Flatwing Rhipidolestes janetae
(Asia
Dragonfly). Endemic owlet moths include Pangrapta
roseinotata (flickr),
Athetis
bispurca (flickr),
Ugia purpurea
(flickr),
and Belciana
scorpio (flickr).
Endemic looper moths include Sigilliclystis
kendricki
