Kosovo
The Drin Brook Lamprey Eudontomyzon stankokaramani (IVB pdf file) may breed exclusively in Kosovo and represent an endemic freshwater fish.
Invertebrates known only from Kosovo include a pseudoscorpion Chthonius metohicus (doiSerbia pdf file) and springtail Neelus klisurensis (Zootaxa pdf file) that is known solely from the Velika Klisura Cave.
Among perhaps 13 endemic vascular plant species are Crocus kosaninii (botanicus.nu),
a dutchman's pipe Aristolochia
merxmuelleri (Hacquetia
2 MB pdf file), Plantago dardanae (IPNI), and Hypecoum
pseudograndiflorum (JSTOR).
