plant species unique to Sweden include the Oland Wormwood Artemisia oelandica

the Oland Fescue Festuca
oelandica (Eva
Ekeblad), Corydalis gotlandica (ArtDatabanken),
an orchid Gymnadenia
runei (Eric
Elgebrant), a cinquefoil Potentilla
sterneri (SEKJ
pdf file), the brambles Rubus vikensis (SBF pdf file) and Rubus friesianus (IPNI), and Cotoneaster
kullensis (Pinkka).
Endemic plant microspecies include Pilosella dichotoma
(Biopix) and several other hawkweeds (SEKJ pdf file) and several
dandelions: Taraxacum
pseudosuecicum (Biopix),
Taraxacum langeanum (GlobalTwitcher.com), and Taraxacum crocinum (p. 2 of Svenska
Botaniska Föreningen pdf file).
Insects known only from Sweden include a flat moth Depressaria
nemolella (old.c.lst.se pdf file) and a fungus gnat Allodia huggerti (Online-Keys.net
pdf file). A recently discovered marine worm Grania occulta (Wildlife
Extra) is so far known only from off Gullmarsfjord, while a
freshwater flatworm Stenostomum
gotlandense (Zootaxa
pdf file) has been described from Gotland.
